Frugally Creative Ways to Get Rid Of Bedroom Clutter

Clutter is the stuff of nightmares! Not only does it make your space look cramped, but it also takes away your bedroom’s comfort. If you’re looking for under-the-budget and creative ways to get rid of your bedroom clutter, you’re going to love what we have for you!

Brown Bed and White Mattress

Do a Fun Giveaway

All you need for a fun giveaway is some iced tea, closed friends and all the stuff you want to give away. Pick out outfits, accessories, room décor pieces and even trinkets that you’re willing to part with. Arrange them in piles and have your friends pick out what they like! You’ll have a great time with your buddies and you’ll be decluttering your bedroom space at the same time.

Try the 12-12-12 Challenge

This is one of the coolest ways to declutter your bedroom! The idea is to pick out 12 things you want to toss out, 12 things you want to donate, and 12 things you’re willing to rearrange. Once sorted, separate the first two piles and begin arranging the 12 items you’re willing to keep around. It’ll help create space that you can re-imagine into a newer and better one.

Get Rid Of the Chunky Bed

Big pieces of furniture are an absolute chore. No matter how clean your room is, a gigantic bed can seriously take up space, making your room look untidy. One inexpensive way to fix this is by opting for a smaller bed and a gel-infused single mattress. You’ll have more space in your room and you’ll be sleeping really well on such a bed!

Rearrange Your Whole Room

A great way to get rid of clutter is to re-arrange your bedroom. When you re-arrange your bedroom, it gives you perspective on floor space and all the things you don’t need in it! Push your bed into a comfortable corner, arrange that soft settee near a window and try to clear as much floor space as you can. The unnecessary rugs and trinkets can be chucked into the donation pile.

Invest In Stylish Bins

If you’re a messy person, a great way to avoid the dreaded clutter is to get some pretty looking bins that can serve as room décor and hold your stuff. So if you’re being lazy, you can toss your mess right into the bin to clean up later. And the best part is that these bins don’t take too much space either!

Try Hangars, Knobs and Shelves

Install some wall hangars or knobs to hang your coat, hats, scarves and bags. Not only will your stuff be off of the floor, but it’ll be hanging nicely and will look organized. Small things like jackets, sweaters and backpacks can take up a lot of floor space and make your bedroom look cluttered. So opt for these easy to install solutions to clear some space and get organized.

So there you go – super easy and fun ways to get rid of clutter. With these tips, you’re well on your way to having the tidiest room!
