…Don’t Answer the Door

There are no words, I do not need to introduce this man! A satisfied client, a friend and one hell of a fun guy to hang out with on the radio, on Skype or just on Facebook… He is freaking hilarious, but he is also dark… very dark and when my Fourth-Wall Friday monitor alerted me to another breach, I decided to sit this one out because it said ALPHABET CITY… and that means Paul O’Kelly, and I do NOT want to run into him in a dark alley! Welcome Richard!

When the Devil Comes Callin’…Don’t Answer the Door by Richard Long

It started with a Facebook chat. It was late. She was drunk. Well, she may have been drunk, or just a little tipsy, or who knows, maybe stone cold sober. I assumed she was drunk, because what she told me was too strange to have been typed by the fingers of someone who wasn’t under the influence of some type of mind-altering substance.

It was just too creepy.

Drunk or sober, I knew this much: her name was Christine O’Keefe, she was living in Dublin, and a big fan of my novel, The Book of Paul. For those who’ve read it, this story should make you think twice before you open the door without looking through the peephole first. For those who haven’t, you might care to indulge yourself before continuing this story. And for those who haven’t read it and are thinking  Enough with your “suggestions,” just tell the feckin’ story! I’ll tell the feckin’ story.

Blood and Whiskey - Cowboy & a Vampire (review & a recipe)Two of my favorite people ever! I fell in love with the first book when Llewellyn published it a long time ago and now they are back with book number two. Check out their Fourth-Wall Friday on the blog! Cowboys and Vampires and Century old dudes in mud OH MY! I recommend this and the rest of the series to anyone who is tired of the same old vampire myths. It really took on a wonderful twist to the normal myths out there, plus these vampires do not sparkle!
