The Buried Life – Music from The Buried Life by @Carrie_Patel #review

So many good books, so little time. I read two back to back which Angry Robots released for their Netgalley readers the same day, back to back. This one, The Buried Lifeand Some Fine Day (read my review from earlier this month HERE). I seriously just tore through these books they were so wonderful. I want it noted I could have written a 15 page abstract and analytic paper on this, deconstructing it and bringing up sociological aspects etc etc, but honestly, go forth and freaking discover this amazing read. Angry Robots has not let me down ONCE EVER in books … amazing get it for pre-order today!!

Vignette – A Dog’s Life – #FourthWallFriday by @JohnDolanAuthor #AtoZChallenge

VFourth-Wall Fridays are usually long and involved but today I asked John to write me  vignette to represent V for the #AtoZChallenge. A small window where he and his world-build of his series mixes it up. Vignette’s are fun, not so much a teaser but more like a way to get someone interested with a taste. Like the taste from the sauce bubbling, you get just what you need to get an idea of what it will be like but not a full story. This one is wrapped up in a nice ribbon for a great Fourth-Wall Friday addition.

Reading Thrillers in my Arctic Desert Cabin – The Shroud Key by @VincentZandri

Posted by on Feb 27, 2014 in Books, Mystery, Partners in Crime Virtual Book Tours, Reviews | 2 comments

It has been a while since I have read a book for Partners with Crime Tours. I have read only one other of Vincent’s books, The Disappearance of Grace, and it is one of those books which was perfect for the afternoon. I enjoyed it and probably would have enjoyed it more if I was able to read the rest in the series. Even though it is a stand alone there is still some back story I missed. If you want to read the whole review check it out HERE.
