The Finishing Fairies has a bunch of awesome stuff coming up in March! For those that do not know, myself and Kai Wilson-Viola run a small author image management company which also hosts tours and blasts as part of our services (and my graphics of course).
I am excited because today I have three! One is a tour and the other two are a mega blitz launch and another a how-to book written by Kai herself for a launch! Kai’s
Welcome to day one of the Suddenly Sorceress feature on Cabin Goddess. First, everyone look around! Today is the first post on my new blog. It has been moved to a fast new server hosted by HOSTINGFORWRITERS.COM and totally hauled over and fixed by the owner and one of my best friends D Kai Wilson who is awesomeness incarnate and made it possible to post today’s review for author Erica Lucke Dean and Red Adept Publishing. Oh and there is a giveaway also, so don’t miss that! Anywho, welcome to the new blog!
Where To Katie with Love with its sudden twists and plot surprises left us, Suddenly Sorceress took it up and ran fast, lightening fast up to another level of awesome. Our leading lady Ivie McKie, a run of the mill kindergarten teacher is engaged to very “popular” chiropractor, Matthew Smith. A bit too popular it seems! After Ivie has a rather adventurous field trip experience, at the price of her Ralph Lauren Boots (see the Pinterest board below for an image), and her favorite

The Rising Wind

After graduating into the Imperial knighthood, Marcavius and his cousin book passage aboard a merchant ship, the Rising Wind, to visit their family estate before reporting to the legions. They know no ship dares tread the heart of the Mennaidran Sea, yet along their voyage a strange fog suddenly sets the Rising Wind adrift in those haunted waters. Fortunately another passenger offers his skill as a navigator to save the day, yet he insists that the ship first detour to a nearby island to replenish its supplies. There the ship’s unlucky passengers soon learn that the monsters and magic of legend are no mere myths! Friends, strangers, and even bitter enemies must work together in order to survive and escape. Yet some of the greatest dangers they’ll face are destined to come from one another.
“The same trick didn’t work a third time. When Marc stepped into the ring of firelight and shouted a challenge, his adversaries shrank into the shadows across from him – more cautious now than they had been earlier. Their broad limbs and hulking silhouettes prowled the darkness at the edge of the forest, disguising their numbers. Standing exposed, in the open clearing, Marc felt vulnerable, but he knew he couldn’t run. For an anxious moment, he just stood there, uncertain what to do next. The curse of inexperience was lack of foresight, and Marc hadn’t stopped to calculate an alternative in case his original plan failed. Now he had to think on the spot. Unfortunately the present circumstance was no place for contemplation. So, in that dangerous moment, he acted on instinct.”

I’m a zombie.
You’re going to be a zombie.
They’re going to be zombies, too … they just don’t know it yet.
So, you say you’re a zombie, or rather, know that that’s the path that you’re going to treading for the future of your life. Well, have no fear; you’ve got another zombie near! And I’m here to help you transition to that state of deader living.
We here at the Zombie Institute of Advanced Social Interaction and Deadification (ZIASID) are always glad to add more souls to our growing ranks. We know that life is tough sometimes (ok, most times) and that our wonderful zombie way of being is beginning to gain a broader and more horrific appeal across today’s social constructs.
I am always prepared, well usually. My shower kit always has a spare towel by it just in case. But the noise outside keeps building and getting louder and louder. The cabin is shaking and the cat will not come out from under the bed again. I am not suppose to panic right? The softness of my Downy infused beach towel has helped calm me on many occasions, as well as dried me
Following on the tradition (yes one post can be a tradition.. a start of one) I am going to share the secrets of how baby oil is made for today’s Wordless Wednesday. Yes, there is an old joke flying around “If olive oil is made from squished olives, how is baby oil made?” Well folks just rein it in and remember the back of a bottle is not always PROOF of where it came from.
