If you are a reader from years past you will remember JC Andrijeski has been on the blog along with her two main protagonists Allie and Revik. JC writes an amazing series called Allie’s War set in an alternative future. I have not finished reading it, but I absolutely love the series. Check out the other pieces if you haven’t read them, or want to read them again. JC was one of the first series I did a recipe for and Revik came for coffee on a #FourthWallFriday a couple years back.
Wow JC! Five posts? Rock on! Can you tell I adore this author and her writing? Well as you will read below she is working on the earlier years and she has a bit of a run in.. with a dangerous man whom Revik calls Terry, his full name is Terian. Grab your coffee, or your glass of wine depending on what time it is. Oh and have a handful of apricots too (wink). But remember, if you are going to meet with dangerous men… well *smiling* you may want to read the books for tips!
I knew I’d made some sort of mistake.
While I figured it wouldn’t exactly be

to find the two of them here, I thought I’d written them into this rough vicinity. Therefore, I wasn’t particularly pleased when I looked around at what remained of the promenade in front of the Sông Sài Gòn, or Saigon River in Ho Chi Minh City…and didn’t see them anywhere.
I had thought for sure I had them coming here, to Saigon.
I thought they’d stop here for at least a few days, before they headed northeast to China where I knew
The only way to start off a Monday morning is with some coffee porn, how can you resist sucking this creamy delicious cup of caffeinated goodness down!
Last night I went to bed after having a horrific day of just horrificness and I left my Facebook friends with one challenge, to offend people. I know I know, it is a stretch!
Let’s offend people. I am going to go take a nap,
Yesterday was rough, I was stuck working with a client’s project and instead of getting to join my cabin mates I was cranking out copy and cool graphics instead of word counts on my Camp NaNoWhineMo NaNoWriMo work. If I was to tally up said word count on my client’s copy and the rest I did (oh wait I did tally it up I cranked out 4,392 words today (counting this post since I
Snapping the FWF Schedule closed before the waitress saw anything, I realized I was not sure where I was. Playing it cool, I stirred a cup with a nice dollop of soy milk and RAW sugar while doing a bit of people watching, a shadow cast across my log book for my Fourth-Wall Friday visits, I knew something was going down today but was not sure. The printer just said to be at this cafe in Oxford this morning, so here I am and there he is.
WOW what a week! Recipes, Reviews, Giveaways, kind of has a theme going huh? Well St. Patrick’s is coming up this weekend so everyone should be lucky this week! Take a chance with these giveaways I believe in the Luck O’ the Irish, and maybe JUST maybe on Saturday I will be making a traditional boiled dinner, if I can get my hands on some decent cabbage and a good ham..
Remember to grab her first two books for free right now over on Amazon which will also give you two FREE entries in her contest (see below)
ANYWAY I was lucky enough to eavesdrop on a certain purple cowboy boot wearing Real Estate agent from Deadwood, SD before she earned some of her infamous nicknames (Thank you Ann!). Saturday I will be posting Violet’s favorite ice cream recipe, Peanut Butter Fudge as promised!

Allie Taylor is the leading lady in J.C. Andrijeski’s – Rook and the other Allie’s War series. After reading the book I was struck with her love of coffee, one I share. So I decided to ask Allie how and why coffee was important to her and as a treat for us she also shares how she makes it!

My sweet man Geoff has been dealing with a lot lately. He and I quit smoking. Because of this we were able to afford Internet at the cabin. Of course they just offered Internet here as of a couple of months ago. Many folks take this for granted, just like water, but me oh
