REVIEW and a GIVEAWAY
OK Ralph has made quite the splash here and I have requests that he do some more of my reviewing for crime dramas… but alas, he was to busy eating and terrorizing the cat today so I am going to try to address his ideas on the book myself… Plus in this novel we are not privy to a rat… well at least not the nibbling kind!
Oh don’t forget to play the game at the bottom of the post to be entered in

a best friends comfort
Books, oh what can I say. They are my best friends. I never have to worry about them telling stories about me, just to me. They always pick up the check and serve the sweetest meals. Making sure I am happy, no matter who pissed in my bowl of Cheerios that morning.
In this day and age I can have as many books as I want. No longer am I hobbled by the size of my

Review of Lakebridge: Summer by Natasha Troop – a study in the response and world of horror in the written word..
I have sat on this book review since early summer. Why? I have no idea, well perhaps that statement is not entirely true. The reasons why are many, mainly because I was so taken back by the amazing tale of horror and hope and festiveness wrapped in a dripping red bow. When Natasha Troop came
A ROSE PRESSEY DOUBLEHEADER
I hate watching baseball, but I love using analogies, heck I am sucker for anything that is a cliche~! Since winter is upon us we need some good books to snuggle up with and believe me these are awesome books! Plus with Halloween coming, this is yet another of my contribution to the Halloween themed fun running all over the blogosphere!
Rose Pressey is by far one of my favorite paranormal cozy writers. Her latest

This is a bit of wandering off the path of a regular tour entry, so if you were looking for a review, you will not find it here. What you will find is the reason I could not finish the book and how books, like any other form of art can evoke a powerful emotional response, both the good and the bad. If you choose to read this, I want to also thank the author Lane Diamond and Novel Publicity.
WARNING This reveals personal VIOLENCE against me. It does not describe or go into detail, but if reading about violence against someone is not something you care to read, gloss over the first three paragraphs or do not read at all!
Today is my day to review Forgive Me, Alex by Lane Diamond but today I will not be. Many of you guys read my Teaser Tuesdays post last week, and like me were intrigued about this book. I was still under the first 20%. Well, I have not finished the book and probably will not be at any time in the future. Probably for the same reasons I won’t pick up any of the Dexter books and avoid books about the dark and vicious lives of serial killers and serial rapists. I am the victim of a serial rapist. I do not want to read about it, I lived it. I do not want to see inside the mind of one.
So this week has been a week of reading these WOWZA stories of really horribly dark murders, and this book I am reviewing for a Novel Publicity Tour and am really liking it. I do not want to go into my initial thoughts or descriptors, but the teaser this week is one I highlighted right at the beginning
Teaser Tuesdays No. 15
