A great quick way to get your sweet tooth on before you bake or after a long morning. If there are kids involved, another great way to involve them in the baking without them seeming to be underfoot. This is for two mugs of cookie goodness. But you can easily cut it in half.
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 2 egg yolk
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 2 to taste candy sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
  1. Spray microwave safe coffee mugs with vegetable oil spray.
  2. Place butter in each mug & melt in microwave (about 30 seconds).
  3. Add sugar, vanilla and salt and stir together. Add the egg yolk, mixing thoroughly. Add flour and stir until combined.
  4. Top with sprinkles and cook seperatley in the microwave for about 40-45 seconds. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
Notes
I have sprinkled it with vanilla sugar, hot cocoa, lemon sugar, lavender sugar.. you get the drift. Have fun, that is the most important. The whole point is to have a quick and easy sweet treat.
