Healthy Monster Bites
Fun for everyone and it's healthy!
  • 2 medium green or red apples
  • ⅓ cup almond butter
  • ½ cup (approx) of white candied almonds (you can also use almond slices
  1. Core apples; cut each into 8 thick slices. Make each mouth by spreading about 1 teaspoon of the almond butter on each slice.
  2. Add around five or six almonds candies or slices (or slip in the candy corn for the fangs) and top with another apple slice (make sure each have the almond butter on them).
  3. Serve with an Appletini or a cup of cider and enjoy!
You can use candy corn to make fangs, and that would work great with Halloween, even add some fruit roll-ups for a tong if your fangs are of the werewolf variety! (calories will fluctuate a tad depending on what you use for teeth but it is so minuscule, don't worry!)
