#AdamsOnGlee wearing #SteampunkGoggles & the #Gleeks are Excited

keep-calm-and-gleek-out-19I am not going to admit that I am a Glee fan. Nope… because that would be disrespectful to all the hardcore fans out here, the true fangirls and fanboys (like my son Nathan and his partner Alex). But I can say I am a budding fangirl, apparently called baby Gleek. I love musicals, (yes Nathan you get it from mom, not just the gay gene) and I knew once I started watching this I would be hooked, big time. I have been watching it this season and have been going nuts because I wanted to see this next episode so bad… but it took a pause and I lost focus. They left us all hanging and ………..

Glitter Makes Everything Better

Rose Pressey posted this earlier this morning while I was attempting to write a Sunday Brunch post, now that it is lunch time and I am going to promptly rename this, the Sunday Glitter Express – since I am planning on sharing what is going to happen this week and what happened last week here on the blog and at the Cabin so get the notepad out there will be a test at the end.

Welcome to the new Cabin Goddess

New look, new server.. I am now an ex-patriot..

Yep the Cabin may still be lost in the woods of Alaska still, but her website is hosted over in Scotland, pretty cool huh? I do not care where the actual server is, the fact is the company is not American and apparently I was just “throttling” the servers of yet another host. Shared hosting blows goats. And thank you everyone for loving me so much I got to move for my third time in less than a year!

Fairbanks, AK Weather -12-2-2012

I have featured posts, special quote boxes, and whatever I want as I play. I love the theme, I love my host and I love all of you. So why not throw glitter! Considering how frigid and un-moving it has been here in Alaska This is a welcome warmth of filling the depths of my frigid body.. yes I am a dork, it is so freaking cold here, our car would not start today and I had to go for a drive when we finally did get it running and just sit in the car while he ran into places grabbing supplies…and no I did not Photoshop this.

Since I am slowly getting back in the swing of things after having the inability to post here for more than two weeks (thank you oh great and mighty Alaskan Dreams and my pocketful of snowflakes for allowing me some venting) I have a lot of missed reviews, posts etc.. but when I woke up today I thought, ohhhh I missed my Weekly Read post because I got in a pissing match with Geoff over who was paying more attention to each other and went to bed at 10 PM (yes the great and mighty ManBeast and I can huck more than snowballs at each other at times). Plus I am trying to get my blog back since it’s hostile take over of blog hops (which won’t be happening soon since I bloody signed up for like FOUR next week, just deal with it they are all really cool), book tours and interviews. All of which I really wanted to do but it took some of what I love out of my blog, which is….. ummm ME!

Cabin Goddess hauling water

Yes I did interject some of me in every post, let’s face it I like waving my hands and going “LOOK AT ME! I AM AWESOME and STUFF” from up here in the woods of which I am lost in, but… despite my huge ass numbers and hits, no one is even commenting, and I am sad. I want people to tell me I am a shmuck, or that they want more of this … less of that…. I love talking to people via the blog, not just Facebook or Twitter (which I am really sorry Tweeps I am working on trying to get that back for play time too)

Coming to the Cabin This Week

COVER REVEAL — SO not telling! Be here tomorrow and see!

WEEKLY SHORTS — I have to decide, I have a bunch and this will be posted in Tuesday.

INTERVIEW — Dazzle author Amber Garza, who writes young adult books will be gracing me with her presence. Surprises have yet to be revealed even to me!

REVIEW — North Pole High — I am almost done and cannot help but giggle my ass off throughout the thing considering that I used to live in North Pole and know just how crazy those kids are, makes me wonder if Candice Cane lived here at one point (or still does).

FOURTH-WALL FRIDAY — D Kai Wilson (My Scottish host and friend, author of a book which is about to be launched of which I have had a blast reading a lot of stuff from.) Come on Friday and see!

PLUS MORE — I plan on posting more, and I also have the CHRISTMAS WISHES BLOG HOP starting on Friday!!

Last Week here at the Cabin
