Posted by on Oct 20, 2013 in Bacon, Books, Cabin Cooking, Entertainment, Promotions | 4 comments

Bacontini-Delight!It is Sunday and on Sunday’s I like to sit back and get caught up on my news. OK that and drink a good Bloody Bacon Mary (or The Evil Dead with a side of Bacon) while watching Geoff gun down things on some random video game. Because I am just that cool. BUT I love my mindless reading on Sunday, and I used to have to bring a wagon just to bring the paper in! Sure it is an excuse for another special Bloody Bacon Mary, but come on folks!

Vampires Code by Celia Breslin

I pride myself at being able to review a short story, this one is 4,000 words and has left me with a big challenge. So I thought it would also be fun to have the author give us even more teasers about the vampires of HAVEN, the full length novel this story prequels. Plus it’s a Monday, and well I love having food on Mondays so how about a tiny bit of a .. nibble.. I mean this story is a tease, so why not give you a bit of a tease for food? How about I give you a BITE to eat! Then you can read my review, her top ten things about the vampires of Haven and also have a shot at a great giveaway!

Cabin Goddess - Armchair BEA

Please tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you? How long have you been blogging? Why did you get into blogging?

2013-05-03 20.13.42-2Hi everyone! Kriss Morton here! This is my first Armchair BEA and I am thrilled be here from all the way in Alaska! I live in a small community which hovers in Goldhill between Ester and Fairbanks, AK. This is the interior of Alaska and we are finally reaching summer, although a few weeks ago our “spring” was pouring snow. Monday it was gorgeous and the sun was shining and a balmy 81 degrees! What an amazing way to start the week!
