Review & a Recipe time!!!

Can't Forget Banner 851 x 315

I am late on this, goodness, and I finished reading this early too! I even had a recipe ready and EVERYTHING!! Getting into the habit of reviewing on a tour schedule is killing me, especially when I have a life outside of reading in a cabin in the woods. Everyone watches me read and sit at the computer and just shakes their head before dangling my swimsuit in front of me and saying “pool time!!” lol. So, sit back.. review.. recipe and a giveaway all from Bewitching Book Tours!

Can't Forget Button 300 x 225

I read these back to back to prepare for the tour and it is really nice to see an emerging author blossom over the course of two books. Where “Must Remember” has a touch of innocence to the writing, just a tad naive in an enduring fashion, the second book had an exceptional grasp to the weaving of words. “Can’t Forget”. Ms. Meyers really is someone to watch for.

Again, I am surprising myself with finding how involved I got within the story. I seriously had the household asking me what was wrong because I kept having these various emotions as I read through the the tale. The Fost, just.. umm I feel like I just ate a whole bowl of amazing chili when reading the story, spicy… very spicy chili, I was red in the face I was so involved (and also because ooooooh the spicy sexy scenes *fanning face*).

You will need hankies, I cried, yes, I cried. I totally was caught off guard *shaking a finger at Ms. Meyers*.

I  recommend both the books, especially if you like a really interesting story line and some suspense to go along with it!

4 stars!

About Colleen S. Meyers

Can't Forget by @ColleenSMeyers #Review & a #Recipe #SFRomance

Colleen Myers was raised in a large family in the outskirts of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she grew up on Harlequin teen romances and stories from her mother’s work as a paramedic. She was her high school salutatorian and attended Allegheny College on the Presidential Scholarship.

After college, Colleen spent a year in service in the Americorp giving back to the community at a local Pittsburgh Women Infants and Children Clinic (WICC) before attending Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine on a military scholarship.

Upon completing medical school, Colleen attended residency at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland during 9/11. She earned three meritous service awards from the military along with outstanding unit awards. After serving seven yearsof active duty, she promptly landed a position at the VA to provide fellow veterans with optimum medical care. Still an avid fan of romances into adulthood, her love of the genre inspired her to hone her craft as a writer, focusing on contemporary romance and science fiction. Her background in medicine and the military provide an inspiring layer of creative realism to her stories and characters.

Her first book, Must Remember, the first of the Solum series, is being published by Champagne Press. The sequel, Can’t Forget is the recipient of the 2015 RWA New England Readers Award.

Colleen currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her son, and spends her spare time writing novels.
