There was nothing ordinary about Honey Potts. From the tips of her Very Berry Pink toenails to the top of her curly auburn head, and every freckled mouthwatering inch of abundant skin in between, she was a force of nature that made Derek’s head spin.

For an experienced bear shifter like him, that could spell big trouble.

Teaser Excerpt:

“I’m burning up,” she said matter-of-factly, the grin tilting her luscious lips full of wicked mischief. “I thought I’d join you for a swim.” Keeping her eyes on his face, she toed off her tennis shoes and put her hands on the bottom of her sunny top and began to inch it upward.

“Like hell you are.” He made a cutting motion with his hand. “Dammit woman, keep that shirt on or I’ll…”

I received this book from Bewitching Book Tours in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Honey and Her Bear is hot and it takes you through some difficult issues. Inter species dating is one of those issues. At first I thought there was going to be a huge issue with the fact that while honey has a bear name she is human and some humans think that they don’t belong with other species. Her name caused me to giggle and I knew right from the beginning that Derek the werebear was her man.

From the beginning of the story until right to the very end we get to see how not so innocent their attraction is and as they try to avoid the inevitable the rising heat between them is soon to much for any bear to bear. I loved the authors introduction to a society where wears are apparently out and about as a part of society without giving us a complete history lesson. It allowed me to know how they fit into the society without overwhelming me with details.

I loved this story and while there were more than a couple of times that my fan was needed I wasn’t so completely smothered in backdrop stories. I would be very interested in reading more from this author in the future. In fact I will be adding her to my to be watched list.
