Time to Knit & Reflecting on Time with @LynneCantwell – #OneWord2014
We are still working on the inside of this website/database, Cabin Goddess… well.. it is horked. Apparently the website has been chasing the dragon behind all of our backs. Sigh. On top of all of that my own body decided to jump on the bandwagon with the rest of these yahoos here in Alaska and get the Swine Flu. H1N1 SUCKS ASS! So I am throwing a bunch of memes together LOL, Wordless Wednesday, my #OneWord365 of Time and my weekly posting of my #365Project (yes I am still writing on it but since my website is horked and doing drugs I am only going to post something once a week till it is up).
My Visual Grace and Gratitude is the time I have to sit and learn to knit finally with the yarn I bought when I got to frolic around Fairbanks with Lynne Cantwell this summer.
Oh and BTW if you didn’t know her awesome tour starts today for her latest book, CROSSWIND, check out the schedule over at THE FINISHING FAIRIES, Kai Wilson’s & my Author Image website.
Lynne and I snuck onto Government biological testing sites, we frolicked with ancient pigs & drank Bacontini’s, had Cowboy Sundaes, found directions to Narnia, discovered the breeding ground for all of the backup Rudolphs who also supply my sausage supply. I took her around to all the dive bars and we took on blue grass bands, horseshoe elitist, local newspaper big wigs and we found the local yarn wrangler.
I am thankful for that time, thankful for the time I have to recover, thankful for times to come… What visual grace is there in all those photos! Especially the bacon… here it is bigger, I mean LOOK at that Bacontini from the Oasis Bar and Grill!
What are you taking TIME for this week?
