@TravisSimmons5 Cover Revealed by a Cover Whore

I love cover reveals! Covers draw most readers to a book in the beginning. We all can pound our chests and say, “I never judge a book by it’s cover” but let’s face it, we are like moths to a flame, and when a book cover is HOT we flock to the flame and burn up in the glory… ok maybe I am being a bit dramatic… just a little bit. I love cover art, I am proud card-carrying cover whore! Today’s reveal is by Travis Simmons, not just the book itself by the cover art. Bravo! I know how hard it is to design your own cover. I just went through it myself, thankfully I found someone to paint an image from my photograph! But back to today’s wonderful image! Ta-DA!

The Mirror of the Moon by Travis Simmons

The Mirror of The Moon

With the death of one of the companions, Grace must answer for the secrets she’s kept. The path before them is ever lengthening in their quest for Amber. There are changes they all must face, and when Joya enters her trials of sorcery, danger lurks around every corner. The power within Angelica and Jovian is strengthening and with it comes confusion. What are they? It is painfully obvious nothing like them has ever existed before. Why is it at times they seem more one person than two separate people? With all the mystery surrounding their latent power, Angelica stumbles upon a passage in a book of sorcery indicating she is evil. Could she be the Mask prophecy speaks of? Is she destined to turn against her own flesh? To make matters worse, the Well of Wyrding (a giant well that controls all sorcery) has been breached and wyrd itself is spiraling into chaos.

About Travis Simmons

Travis SimmonsTravis has always been a do-it-yourselfer. He has not had any formal education on writing, nor was he raised around writer types. For that matter, he wasn’t even encouraged to read when he was a kid, even though plenty of people in his family read. When he was a teenager, he discovered Cliff’s Notes on Mythology, and it sparked something in him. It was like a floodgate was opened, and all of these stories started rushing in. He would get ideas at random times, and jot them down. I have a pretty big file system of everything I have ever written. Someday he says he will get to them and put them all into electronic files. There is some good material in there, but there are a lot of bad stories

His work started on The Revenant Wyrd Saga several years back and today it is coming to fruition with documenting the story of Jovian and Angelica’s story.

Travis SimmonsHe lives in a remote part of upstate New York and says a ton of inspiration is to be had just hoofing around his neck of the woods for his work. With a love of research and delving into the speculation of ideas and developing theories to go with his tales. (He also knows how to drive in snow and has no shame with his winter wear *see the gloves*)

While here why don’t you check out some of his random thoughts found on his blog and other places around the net.
