Alaskan Problems – Wordless Wednesday

Word-less Wednesday

Summer Buried

Summer Buried

In Alaska, it is mandatory to have a dead truck in your yard so you can take a photo like this when people post about snow and laugh.. laugh hard, there is a BBQ under that pile of snow, and a table, and chairs.. and a collapsed umbrella, the truck is sitting higher up than my driveway porch, by like… ohhhh four feet. It got warm, like really warm two weeks ago and the contents of my roof went sliding off and burying everything then it then it froze again and went down to -50’F and we had car-cicles. Now it is a balmy -22’F and we are warm and toasty! (It was 114 degrees warmer in Phoenix, AK two days ago and now we are only 63 degrees colder here today.. can you say the weather is FUBAR?)

It is that time of the week again!  Time for Wordless Wednesday, hosted by Create With Joy. On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers post a photograph with no words to explain it on their blog. Hence the ‘wordless’ title. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it doesn’t need any description. (Except  I cannot usually do anything without words!)
