Poseidon’s Children, would you like sauce with your tentacles? (book trailer and tease)
I have mentioned before of my fear of sharks due to my wonderful father scrambling my brain by bringing me to see JAWS in the movie theatre. Actually the idea of giant octopuses scares me more because I have re-occurring dream about being yanked beneath the waves by one. I grew up living and swimming daily in the water right around the corner from where some of the largest octopuses in the world, the Giant Pacific Octopus, live among the ruins of the original Tacoma Narrows Bridge , so this may have been the cause! On that note, I bring you the trailer for the soon to be released POSEIDON’S CHILDREN by Michael West with some very special and limited art work by Matt Perry.
What struck me the most about this trailer was the Cthulian influences. Look at all those lovely tentacle faces and awesome monsters, and.. ohhhh is it me or does anyone else have a craving for calamari now? (grin I bet you know what I am cooking up when this book launches and I review it!)
DarkRider Studios is the creative force behind the new book trailer for Michael West’s Poseidon’s Children : Book One of the Legacy of the Gods series.
In Poseidon’s Children, man no longer worships the old gods; forgotten and forsaken, they have become nothing more than myth and legend. But all that is about to change. After the ruins of a vast, ancient civilization are discovered on the ocean floor, Coast Guard officers find a series of derelict ships drifting in the current–high-priced yachts and leaking fishing boats, all ransacked, splattered in blood, their crews missing and presumed dead….
And that’s just the beginning.
Vacationing artist Larry Neuhaus has just witnessed a gruesome shark attack, a young couple torn apart right before his eyes … at least, he thinks it was a shark. And when one of these victims turns out to be the only son of Roger Hays, the most powerful man in the country, things go from bad to worse. Now, to stop the carnage,Larry and his new-found friends must work together to unravel a mystery as old as time, and face an enemy as dark as the ocean depths.
